Created with Love and Lacy Sunshine

Hello everyone!
I hope you had a great weekend and are ready for our new fortnightly challenge over at

The theme would like to see you work with this time is
Friends
What a great one for all kinds of new projects!
Cards, of course, would be super.  But also think of scrapbook layouts...they could be really fantastic with the pics of your little ones and their best buddies.  Or pull out those 'vintage' photos of you in the day with your bff.  Just have some fun!

Our fantabulous sponsor this challenge is one of my absolute favorite stamp companies:
I love everything that Heather does and
always have so much fun playing with the images she creates.
They just make me smile!!

The image I used for this card is:
Lil' Peanut's Teddy Bear
She is one of the Sticky Wings characters.
One word for her: adorable.

I'm sorry to say that this is going to be my last card that I share over at Created with Love Challenges for a couple of months or so.
As many of you know, I have a torn rotator cuff in my left shoulder.  It's becoming more difficult to craft at this point so it's time to take a rest and wait for my surgery.  My operation is scheduled for February 24th and I'll be in a sling for 6 weeks following that.  Who knows what kind of crafting I can do one-handed though?  I might just be able to come back sooner....I'm sure gonna' try!!

Now it's time for you to get to work on your new "Friends" themed project.  All of us on the CWLC Design Team look forward to seeing what you share with us in the challenge.
Good luck to all who enter!!

You can find this card in the following challenges:
Lacy Sunshine -- Lots of layers
Dream Valley Challenges -- Tag, you're it!

Punchin' it up at Sentimental Sundays

For my second post today,
I'm happy to invite you to our new challenge at
Our theme this week is
"Pack a Punch"
So we want to see your new creations using either a punch or a diecut.

Our fantastic sponsor this week is

My card is for my youngest son, Joe.  Betcha' never would have guessed his name on your own, right?  He is celebrating his 19th birthday TODAY!  Holy cow.  How did that happen?  It's all gone by so quickly!

I used a 1" square punch from Fiskars to punch out areas to place stickers.  The fun image is one that I put together using Doodle Pantry's Birthday Accessories.  I used a new method to color the images.  Using my ProMarker Blender pen, I colored with chalk.  I need to work with this technique more (obviously) but it was really fun!  I look forward to giving it another go sometime.

Because of my shoulder injury, this is going to be my final card over at Sentimental Sundays for a couple of months or so.  I can't wait to get back to work with all of the Design Team over there.  In just the short amount of time I've been a member of the team, they've become some really fun friends.  Very supportive, friendly, funny and tremendously talented.  I'm lucky to be a part of it all!

Please take a minute and head on over to
The inspiration pieces shared are sure to get your creative Mojo goin'!  We look forward to seeing all of the great new entries.

Come and Get It with Bugaboo Stamps

Hello everyone on yet another snowy day from central Indiana.
We've officially set the record for the snowiest winter since such records were kept...since 1884!!
To date, we've had 51.3" of snow.
Our average snowfall is 25.9" so we've really outdone ourselves!
I'm ready for it to end.
REALLY READY!!

On to funner topics.
Today begins a super new challenge at
This time we want to see your new creations for
A Humorous Birthday

Our sponsor this week couldn't be any better for this theme.
has some of the most hilarious stamps and sentiments I've seen!
And one lucky entrant will have the chance to grab 7 digis.
How much fun would that be!?!

This week I used one of the Gus images.
I just couldn't pass up a digi of an old man
in bunny slippers!

I'm sorry to say that this is going to be my last card that I share over at Come and Get It Challenges for a couple of months or so.

You won't believe the Prize from DCWV!!

This is the very first time I am going to begin a post by saying that I'm really disappointed to be on a Design Team.
Now before you think there's some huge scandal going on over at
let me explain!

Our sponsor this week is
who I just absolutely adore.
To make it even more exciting,
will have three randomly drawn winners this week.
Okay.
So those 2 facts are pretty awesome, right?
Well just hold onto to you seats!
The giveaway is worth
ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS
Holy canolli, Batman....that's a whole lotta' paper!
Now you can see why I wish I weren't on the DT.
If I weren't, I'd be able to join in the challenge and take a chance of winning one of the most outstanding prizes I've seen on any blog.
Then again, I'd miss out on the new friendships I've found on the team.  I love DCWV but I really wouldn't want to trade getting to know these lovely ladies....even for that much incredible paper.

So, for those of you who can enter your new creations this week here is the theme:
>>> Use 3 or more Designer Papers <<<
All of the Designer Papers I used on my card this week are from DCWV.  Of course.

Both of the stamps that I used are from Tim Holtz.  The little charm is from my stash.  The rustic twine is from Papertrey Ink.

I love the way this card came together.  I think it would be great for either a man or a woman and that it would work for lots of different occasions or no occasion at all.

I expect to see oodles of awesome new projects
in this week's challenge at Hiding in My Craft Room.
It's just so exciting to be able to be a part of such an incredible giveaway!  Good luck to all who enter!!

Anything Goes
challenge over at

Our fantastic sponsor this week is

I'm not sure what it is with me
always choosing animals with balloons.
But I'm really drawn to them and
had to have this one from Eureka!
Isn't he so happy looking?

Now for the copy and paste part of this post:
(If you've visited my blog recently, you can skip this part....
it will be the same for a while.  Sadly.)
For the next several weeks, my posts are going to be just the basic invite to new challenges along with photos of my projects.  I found out that my left rotator cuff is torn and will require surgery to repair it.  I'm able to continue crafting for the time being but typing is really uncomfortable because of the angle that my arm is in to do so.
~~I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that I love crafting and don't love typing so much.~~

If you have any questions about the techniques or supplies that I've used on any cards, please leave me a comment.  Or you can email me.  The email information is in the left hand column just below my profile.

Please forgive me for not commenting on your blogs; but know that I am stopping by to take looks at all of the incredible creations my lovely friends are sharing.

Hiding in My Craft Room with 2 Cute Ink

Before I get to the rest of my post today, I have a quick message that I would like to send to my very favorite husband in the entire world.
(It was 33 years ago today that he asked me to 'go with him' while we were rollerskating.  We were 15.
He was so cute and I was so smitten....He's still pretty darned cute and I'm still completely smitten.)
Happy 33rd Anniversary, Mister.

Welcome to a new challenge at
This week our theme is:
Super Scraps Saturday
So clean out that scrap bin or clear off that desk and see what new creation you can share with us.

Our fantastic sponsor is
Heidi Arrowood is the artist over at 2 Cute Ink.  She has such a sweet and fresh style; her images are all adorable.  If you've not had a chance to check out her Etsy shop yet, you owe it to yourself to go take a look.  I know you won't be disappointed!

I used the 'Squirrel Present' image
for my card this week.
Is that just too stinkin' cute or what?!
