Sandy announced a need for more Missing You cards.
I've had these cards made for about a week; ready to go in with my OWH November shipment. So I thought I'd share them today.
In doing so, I hope that some of my lovely friends/followers can also contribute cards for this incredible cause.
I found an A2 sized alphabet embossing folder on the clearance rack at Hobby Lobby. It's from The Paper Studio and I thought it was too cute to pass up....not knowing what I would do with it.
But it was on clearance. I had to buy it.
After embossing, I just gave a quick swipe with my white ink pad to accentuate the letters a bit. |
All of the u's were punched out using my Crop-A-dile Big Bite. |
The sentiment is from 3 stamp sets. The "missing" is by Papertrey Ink. The "u" is by Studio G. The arrow is from Cricut Posh Frames. |
All of the papers (other than card bases) came from my scrap box. |
You can find the pink card in the following challenges:
Crafty Little Fairies -- Top of the pops, inspired by a song
(Missing you by John Waite....love that song!)
Crafty Ribbons -- #70 Anything goes with ribbon
Addicted to Stamps & More -- #71 Anything goes
The Paper Shelter -- For someone special
Chocolate, Coffee, and Cards -- Monochromatic
The cards were super easy to do and the results are kinda' cute.

I think so anyway.
Now I'm really happy I'm a craft hoarder I can't pass up a bargain.
The embossing folder was definitely worth the couple of bucks I paid.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope some of you will be able to get some cards made for our great American service members.
