Creative Fingers & Sassy Studio Designs

Welcome to a brand new challenge at

We have an Anything Goes challenge this week.
Our fabulous sponsor is

All of the Design Team was lucky enough to be able to choose a
fun and fantastic images from Sassy Studio.
I decided on "The Greatest Gift."

Santa (aka: my hubby) was so sweet this Christmas and brought me a Big Shot.  Yay!!  I used the largest of the Spellbinders Lacey Circles to cut the image.  While the die was still in place, I inked around the image with Tim Holtz Victorian Velvet Distress Ink.

Lavender seam binding was woven through the scallops.  I added a small Prima mulberry flower and a resin flower over the "tails" of the seam binding to complete the embellishing of the image layer.

The banner was cut using my Cricut Expression and the Create a Critter 2 cartridge.  I merged 2 banners in Cricut Craft Room to make it long enough for all of the letters and the tiny hearts.

You can find this card in the following challenges:

I used my envelope punch board.
Just line the center of the strip of paper up
with the center of the punch and snip away.
One easy cut!

Hiding in My Craft Room with Freckled Fawn

The title of this post certainly does paint a funny picture.
Don't you agree?
I know I had loads of fun playing with the goodies that

Everyone has commented on what great items we received and really enjoyed using them on our inspiration pieces for this week's

The winner this week will receive a $20 gift certificate from
Freckled Fawn.  Happy shopping!!

As I stated above, today begins a new Super Scraps Saturday challenge at Hiding in My Craft Room.
Time to clean out that stash of bits and bobs.  Let's see what kind of magic you can make with nothin' but scraps!  I, personally, love to make cards out of my scrap box.  It always feels like I've gotten something for free.

Here is my card for this week:
Don't you think the great metal flower and large rhinestone stickers are fab?  I do!  Those all came in my pack of goodies from Freckled Fawn.  After I completed the card, I felt like it needed just a little bling in the upper right corner so I added some small rhinestones from my stash.  (They really are a much closer match in color to the Freckled Fawn rhinestones than this picture shows.)

Other items I used for this card:
Papers: Bazzill, Papertrey Ink
Image: Sassy Studio Designs Martini Pin-up
Colored with my ProMarkers

Thanks so much for stopping by today.
While you're here, why not check out my blog candy?
You can find all of the details here: Queen Bee's candy....yum!

Now go grab your scraps and get to work.
look forward to seeing your new creations!
