Created With Love Challenge #73

Happy Monday to everyone and Happy Martin Luther King Day to all of my fellow Americans!
Today begins a new challenge at
Created with Love Challenges.

Our theme this week is
Winged Things
and our sponsor is
Fred, She Said.

When the lovely folks at Fred, She Said allowed all of the Design Team to select our own images, I was really torn because there are so many fantastic options.  That was until I saw this hummingbird and columbine image.  I fell in love!  I do have to admit that I was a bit intimidated by it though.  My Mom is completely crazy for hummingbirds and I wanted to do this justice.

The sentiment stamp and small hummingbird silhouette are both from the Papertrey Ink's Birds of a Feather set.  Hubby found a box of tags while digging through some of our things stored under the stairs recently so I grabbed them and added one to this card.  The large white rose, ribbons, and heart charm are all from my stash.  All other items used to make this card will be listed below.

Stick pins are definitely one of my favorite embellishments to add to my cards.  I always have so much fun playing with different combinations of beads but usually spend way too much time making my final decision on which ones to use.

You can find this card in the following challenges:
Addicted-to-Stamps -- Flowers
Crafting When We Can -- Recipe: 1 image, 2 ribbons, 3 main colors
Hobby Cutz -- Lots of layers
Quirky Crafts - Birds, bugs, and butterflies
Creative Knockouts -- Tag, you're it

Now's the time for you to go take a look at all of the other
Design Team inspiration pieces at
Created With Love.
You're going to love what you see!
All of us on the DT would love to see your new creations with featuring Winged Things for this challenge.

In addition to the items listed above, here are the ingredients of this card:
